The leaderboard
The public ranking of signed-in players: where it is, its table, Last, Top and the rank chart, and how to be on it.
What it is
The leaderboard ranks the signed-in players by their rating: points that every rated match moves from the loser to the winner. Everyone starts at 1,000; beat strong rivals to climb (Rating points). Not every match is rated: only Quick Match between two signed-in players, fought for real.
It is public: anyone may read it, guests too. It keeps two tables, the running season’s and all-time (Seasons and medals).
Where to find it
- The main menu’s LEADERBOARD opens the Chronicle. Its tabs: Leaderboard (the table), Last, Top and, signed in, My matches (your own history, rated or not).
- It has a page of its own, leaderboard.html, for any browser. Its address keeps the view: a link opens the same table, season or player.
- In a match, a signed-in player’s rating shows beside their name in the muster and the match header (“1103 #12”: the rank, while in the top 100; “New” for a new account).
- Game Over shows what the match moved (“+16 → 1103 (#12)”), or why it moved nothing (“Not rated: …”).
The table
- Its columns: # (the rank), Player (with the medals of finished seasons, and “New” for a new account), Last (what their last rated match moved), Points, V and D (victories and defeats).
- Season or All-time picks the table; a menu opens the finished seasons.
- 50 players a page, with Prev and Next. Find a name searches it and keeps each player’s rank. Signed in, your row is marked, and Find me goes to it.
- Over the first page, the rank chart: the top 20 day by day over the last 14 days. Point at a line to follow a player.
- Any name opens that player’s page.
Last
The latest counted matches, rated or not: who played whom, when, for how long, on which map size, how it ended, and the points each side moved. A match that moved nothing says why (“Not rated: …”, a link to its fair play rule); a seat that moved less says that too. More shows older ones.
Top
The table’s records, the best 10 of each:
- Highest rating reached, and when.
- Longest win streak.
- Most matches rated.
- Most time played in rated matches.
- Best average rival: the toughest company, among players with 10 rated matches or more.
Being on it
- A player appears once signed in (with Google or an email code) and rated once. A guest is never rated.
- You join the leaderboard by ticking Show me on the public leaderboard when you pick your name, or later in Settings: it is off until you do. Off, your name leaves the tables and the pages, others’ Last shows you as “Unlisted player”, and your matches are not rated until you switch it on.
- What the leaderboard shows of you, and what is kept, is in the game’s privacy page (outside the wiki; the version card links it too).
